Fall 2024 Food Pantry Shopping Appointments

The Jamil Niner Student Pantry reopens for the Fall 2024 semester the week of August 19th. The Jamil Niner Student Pantry will be open for shopping on Tuesdays and Thursdays only during the Fall 2024 semester!

The pantry's online form for student shoppers opens every Sunday morning at 7:00 a.m. Shopping appointments can be scheduled between 11:00 - 4:30 p.m. Students may only shop once per week. Repeated no-shows to appointments will receive notification from our office and may lose eligibility for the remainder of the semester. Appointments are limited and we want to ensure that students are committing to their scheduled appointment date/time.

Starting July 1, 2024, the Jamil Niner Student Pantry is now managed by Student Assistance and Support Services (SASS). Please direct all questions regarding shopping, volunteering, donating, and partnerships to SASS. We can be reached at ninerpantry@charlotte.edu or (704) 687-0289.

The Jamil Niner Student Pantry is operated by Student Assistance and Support Service, in partnership with the UNC Charlotte Foundation. The pantry is supported through a variety of student volunteers, faculty and staff volunteers, and external partners and relationships. The Jamil Niner Student Pantry is pleased to be supported by partnerships with Harris Teeter, Nourish Up, Food Lion, and through donations from Chartwells, various members of the UNC Charlotte community, and community members.
